Danger Close Games was a video game development team formed from EA Los Angeles and owned by Electronic Arts. The studio was created to design the single-player mode for Medal of Honor (2010), while EA DICE, another studio owned by EA, developed the multiplayer mode for the game. The company later developed a sequel titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter after the success of the previous game. Following the poor reception received by Warfighter, EA announced in January 2013 that the Medal of Honor series was taken 'out of rotation' and put on hold. In May of the same year, Danger Close was turned into DICE Los Angeles, a division of EA DICE and received staff from the Swedish studio.
